Franklin County, Missouri

Franklin County is located in East Central Missouri. It is named for Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
The seat is Union while the largest city is Washington. It is bordered by the Missouri River to the north.
Franklin County borders Warren, St. Charles, St. Louis, Jefferson, Washington, Crawford and Gasconade Counties.
Main highways through the county include I-44, US-50, Former US-66, MO-30, MO-47 and MO-100.
